Decades of unchecked development have pushed Florida panthers into a fraction of their historic range. Now panthers, including kittens and their mothers, are forced to cross dangerous highways to find food and shelter and are often killed or injured by cars. Today, fewer than 160 of these big cats are left in the wild.
Your adoption helps Defenders' work with state and local officials to protect essential habitat, construct highway underpasses and help to maintain habitat connectivity so panthers can live in their wild, native community.
All donations support our work to protect and restore the wildlife and wild places you care about.
