Southern resident orcas are on the brink of extinction because their main prey, chinook salmon, have declined across the Northwest. While there are many actions needed to recover chinook salmon, the single biggest action we can take is removing the four lower Snake River dams.
Gov. Inslee and the state legislature have funded a process to interview stakeholders that would be affected by the removal of those dams. Their report is key to moving forward with the plan to save the impacted species.
We need to make sure that report doesn't just sit on a shelf while orcas and salmon are disappearing. Add your voice today: It's time to take the next step and save these species!
Dear Governor Inslee,
