Stop the Forest Service from selling out the Tongass

Bears in Tongass National Forest (c) USFS

The Tongass National Forest in Alaska contains one of the largest intact old-growth rainforest ecosystems in the world and is home to a unique and vast array of wildlife.

And timber companies are just itching to cut it down.

The fight to protect the Tongass is now more urgent than ever as the U.S. Forest Service recently moved forward with a devastating new rule that puts formerly protected old-growth forest at risk of clear-cut logging and roadbuilding.

This pristine forest habitat is home to a variety of animals found nowhere else in the world – and they won't all survive this greedy industrial invasion.

We have to act now: Tell Forest Service to protect the Tongass National Forest!
