Help stop deadly wildlife smuggling

Hundreds of wildlife species are literally being traded into extinction. The international trade in wildlife and wildlife products is worth hundreds of billions of dollars a year, and the illegal trade is on a scale comparable to the worldwide trade in drugs and guns.

Fortunately, there is an international agreement to regulate wildlife that is threatened by trade, and the triennial Conference of the Parties is coming up this May in Sri Lanka. The United States has a critical role to play in protecting an abundance of species that are being driven to the brink.

Ask the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service to stand for imperiled species at the upcoming CITES meeting this May
