Protect Wildlife in the Chugach National Forest
The U.S. Forest Service is asking for comments on a draft management plan for the Chugach National Forest. This plan will guide the future of the forest and determine the fate of the many species that depend on its proper management to survive.
The proposed plan will be the guiding management document for this extremely valuable 5.5 million-acre forest. Brown and black bears, five species of Pacific salmon, moose, and wolves call the Chugach home.
We’re counting on supporters like you to remind the Forest Service that these species matter and must be protected in its plan!
*Defenders will submit your name, city, state and comment. All comments become part of the public record.
