Don’t Gun Down Grizzlies

Just a few months ago, grizzly bears in the greater Yellowstone region were removed from the protection of the Endangered Species Act (ESA). Now, as they are in the early stages of making a comeback, Wyoming Game and Fish Department (WGFD) is proposing to let trophy hunters kill up to 23 of them – including females that may be pregnant with cubs!

The WGFD's plan is hasty and short-sighted. Wyoming should focus on the long-term recovery of grizzly bears in the greater Yellowstone region by encouraging the expansion of their range and continuing to promote non-lethal conflict prevention, not by preparing to kill them.

Act Now! Tell the WGFD you oppose this reckless plan to kill grizzlies in Wyoming.
