In April, the Trump administration launched yet another attack on our public lands, waters and wildlife by calling for a "review" of 27 national monuments created over the past 20 years under the Antiquities Act, a law that allows presidents to designate public places as monuments in order to protect "objects of historic or scientific interest," including native species and biodiversity. The real goal of this “review” is quite clear: to downsize or rescind protections for these monuments and open them up to harmful land uses and development, including oil and gas drilling.
Tell your Congressional delegation to defend our national monuments from the Trump administration.
