Protect Our National Treasures

In April, the Trump administration launched yet another attack on our public lands and wildlife by calling for a "review" of 27 national monuments created over the past 20 years under the Antiquities Act, a law that allows presidents to designate public lands and waters as monuments in order to protect "objects of historic or scientific interest," including native species and biodiversity. The real goal of this “review” is quite clear: to downsize or rescind protections for these monuments and open them up to harmful land uses and development, including oil and gas drilling.

Tell Secretary of the Interior Zinke to protect these national monuments as they are currently designated.
