To mark President Trump’s 100th day in office, Defenders is taking to the streets to let the president, all our elected officials, and the world know that we demand action on climate change.
Join us in marching to show the world that we will continue to demand action on climate change for the future of our planet.
People’s Climate MarchSaturday, April 29th, 2017National MallWashington D.C.
Our plan for the day:11:00AM – Gather in front of the Capitol12:30PM – March up Pennsylvania Ave to surround the White House3:00PM – Reconvene on the Washington Monument Grounds
Climate change is the single largest threat facing our country and the planet, with vast implications for our health and communities, and wildlife and their habitat. President Trump’s recent Executive Order on Climate Change cripples our efforts to both halt climate change and limit the damage it will cause. That is why we’re joining the People’s March for Climate on April 29th and asking you to join us in our nation’s capital and around the world.
Will you march with us?
Signing up will help us get the word out to coordinate when and where we’ll meet on the day of the March. We will provide signs beautifully illustrating some of the wildlife species at risk in a changing climate.
Sign up now and add your voice alongside ours!
