Celebrate this Earth Day by speaking out for science and its importance to wildlife conservation.
At Defenders, we know that without a strong commitment to science we would not have the essential knowledge and tools to protect the imperiled species and critical habitat we all cherish.
To demonstrate how essential science is to our work of protecting wildlife and wild places, Defenders is joining the March for Science on April 22nd and we hope you can too!
March for Science
Saturday, April 22nd
Starting at 10 AM
Without science we have no chance to protect imperiled wildlife and the habitat they need to survive from assaults on the laws and policies that protect them or from the ravages of climate change. We are at a pivotal time in our nation’s history when science and its role in our society have been called into question. The March for Science is a way to demand politics stays out of unbiased science and to show our leaders in government how vital scientific research is to our future.
Join us on Saturday, April 22nd for the March for Science.
