Help wolves in Oregon!
Gray wolves in Oregon need your protection from a cruel killing device.
A two-year-old gray wolf in northeast Oregon was recently killed by an M-44, a cruel and controversial cyanide trap still used by the US Department of Agriculture's Wildlife Services program. The trap was located in an area of known wolf activity – one that had been designated as such for many years.
These predator-killing devices put gray wolves and other species at great risk. Oregon’s small wolf population is still vulnerable and the use of random poisoning devices in areas of known wolf activity seriously threatens their recovery.
Please, demand that Governor Kate Brown protect wolves by ending the use of M-44’s in known wolf areas.
