There are currently no limits on swimmers being permitted to enter the warm Three Sisters Springs where manatees congregate to rest in the winter. As a result, these endangered gentle giants are subject to constant harassment and disturbance when they need to be regaining their strength. When disturbed, manatees may flee to colder waters, where they face even greater stress and possible death.
Tell the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service to act now to protect manatees in Three Sisters Springs!
