Anti-wildlife members of Congress are using our National Defense bill to hide amendments that would dismantle protections for imperiled wildlife. This is a grossly inappropriate action by members of Congress who are more concerned with pushing special interest agendas even at the expense of species struggling on the brink of extinction.
These amendments do not belong on a National Defense bill – both the Department of Defense and the White House oppose them, stating they have nothing to do with military readiness or national security. Yet despite this, members of Congress continue to play their political game for political gain.
Tell your Senator to oppose anti-wildlife amendments in the National Defense Authorization Act!
