Keep Cape Hatteras Wildlife Protected

Congress is under pressure from ORV advocates to scrap a successful and balanced program that protects the breeding grounds for endangered shorebirds and sea turtles along the Cape Hatteras National Seashore.

If this bill passes, all 67 miles of this fragile coastline will be open year-round to destructive off-road vehicles — putting beach-nesting sea turtles, chicks and beachgoers in harm's way.

Please urge the Senate Committee on Energy and Natural Resources to oppose S. 486 and allow the successful management of the Cape Hatteras National Seashore to continue!
