Act Now to Save the Arctic Refuge from Destruction
Anti-wildlife extremists in the House have the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge in their sights.
The House Budget Committee just released a draft budget resolution that includes a provision enabling legislation authorizing oil drilling in the refuge’s coastal plain to be railroaded through Congress. The 1.5-million-acre coastal plain is the biological heart of the Arctic Refuge and provides vital habitat for arctic foxes, muskox, brown bears, wolves and some 200 bird species that migrate from all 50 states and six continents. We must protect this invaluable landscape for future generations of Americans and wildlife.
Please urge your representative to oppose the House Budget Resolution which paves the way for drilling in the Arctic Refuge.
